Privacy Policy

Ember: WOD Timer does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.

Information on your device

Your workout log, saved workouts and settings are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad, and are included in your device backups if you use them. They never leave your device unless you choose to export them. You can delete all of it at any time in Settings > Delete all data, or by deleting the app.

Apple Health

Saving to Apple Health is off by default. If you turn it on, Ember asks for permission to write your finished workouts (the workout type, start and end time) to the Health app on your device. Ember does not read any Health data. Health information is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is never used for advertising or marketing.

Live Activities and sounds

The Lock Screen timer, sounds and voice cues are generated on your device. Nothing about them is sent anywhere.

Exports

When you export your log as a CSV file, the file is created on your device and shared only with the app or person you choose.

Third parties

Ember contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code, and sells or shares no data with anyone.

Children

Ember is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
